ruault

Lucile Ruault is a sociologist and CNRS research fellow at Cermes3. She has studied the militant practice of abortion procedures and, more broadly, women's health care in the 1970s and 1980s (MLAC and self-help in France) through the prism of medicalization and feminist politicization. Her current research continues to explore reproductive work and gender inequalities (study on cancer-creation conjunctions; POM collective survey on men's experiences in MAR), as well as heterodox knowledge in health based on covid non-vaccination (RAREVAX survey).

In the continuity of an research on the routinization of genomics in cancer care, she participates, within the framework of TraGenInnov, in the work package dealing with the impact of genetic technologies on disease trajectories as well as the work of patients and families.
