Renaud Debailly is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Sorbonne University and a researcher at GEMASS.
Initially trained in the sociology of sciences, his research focused on the politicization of science through collective mobilization and participatory science. He is currently developing this perspective from the angle of the link between care and research, particularly in the field of cancer and rare diseases. He is interested in the mobilization of knowledge from different fields and the interaction between different types of expertise.
As part of the TraGenInnov project, he works in the research area dedicated to patient work.
