froger lefebvre

Juliette Froger-Lefebvre is a sociologist of health, a post-doctoral researcher at the CNRS (GEMASS - Sorbonne University), and a member of Siric Curamus, attached to the SHS department of the Centre Léon Bérard and the Institut des sciences sociales du politique (ISP - Université Paris Nanterre). As part of her political science thesis, she studied the institutionalization of discussion groups for people suffering from eating disorders, and their mobilization to gain recognition for their experiential knowledge.
As part of Sylvain Besle's SHS Inca Chair team, she continues to work on patient care and their involvement in collectives, exploring transformations in health inequalities and their increasing complexity in a context of opening up access to genomic medicine in oncology.
Lastly, in TraGeninnov, she deals with the impact of new genomic prescription methods, and the information and understanding required for patients' disease trajectories.
