Héléna Revil is a research engineer at the PACTE social science laboratory, Grenoble-Alpes University (UGA). Her work focuses on the relationship between people, particularly those made vulnerable by illness and/or precarious living conditions, and the health and social services available to them. She is also interested in the effects of measures designed to improve access to healthcare and/or healthcare rights on professional organizations and practices, as well as on the public. She leads the Observatoire des non-recours aux droits et aux services (Odenore, Observatory for non-recourse to rights and services), a research unit of the PACTE laboratory and the UGA, based at the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme (MSH) Alpes.
